A coffee with… Wendy Pullano
Brace yourself for sheer, unbridled positivity from a comparative Bipsync newbie who’s always looking on the bright side.
Name: Wendy Pullano
Role: Customer Success Manager – Implementation
Coffee: Iced Coffee with almond milk
Being responsible for steering client implementations through the onboarding process, Wendy Pullano is one of those people who spends every day just making things happen.
In good hands
Wendy’s story begins in the small town of Trumbull, Connecticut, where she grew up immersed in outdoor adventures and sports, and learning her way around a toolbox.
“I am pretty handy. I grew up helping my dad with lots of little projects and now my husband and I do a lot of work on our house together.
“I can troubleshoot issues with a lawnmower, fix a leaky sink, lay tile, plant a garden, or take apart a vacuum. I take pride in my belongings and love learning new skills!” We even completely renovated our kitchen right before I joined Bipsync in August 2022.
Having attended Fordham University where she majored in Business and minored in Computer Science, Wendy started her career in New York City, where she honed her skills at an SaaS company, navigating the intricate landscape of software development.
However, it was her return to Connecticut that set the stage for her next chapter at Bipsync.
Finding a home at Bipsync
Drawn to the promise of a dynamic and innovative culture, Wendy discovered the reality was even better during her job interview process at Bipsync, where she got to talk to 6 or so members of the team.
“Everyone had incredible things to say about their time so far at Bipsync, and I was even more impressed that when I started, all the things they said ended up being true. The company culture is held in such high regard and it really shows.”
Since coming on board, Wendy has embraced her role on the implementation team where she navigates the intricacies of client onboarding with the mindset of helping every client.
“I’m working with some really awesome clients right now. Some really unique set ups. We also have a lot of cool features rolling out at Bipsync.
New features are great because every time we release them I get to add them into the implementation process to make our clients’ lives easier and make sure they are getting the most out of the tool.”
A day in Wendy’s life
Speaking with Wendy, it’s clear that working at Bipsync is an exhilarating journey filled with dynamic challenges and rewarding experiences.
“Every day is different. For members of the implementation team like myself, every day offers a new adventure in helping clients navigate their onboarding process.
I love how things are always changing. All of our clients use Bipsync in different ways. They each have a process for how they do things so every implementation is different. It keeps my days exciting.”
At the heart of Wendy’s Bipsync experience lies the people and culture – both of which she cherishes. When asked what her favorite part of working at the company is, she immediately mentions her colleagues.
“I can’t stress enough how fun it is to work with these people!”
Looking ahead
For those just starting out in their careers, Wendy offers invaluable advice drawn from her own experiences: embracing the learning curve is paramount…
“Don’t be afraid to apply to a job if you don’t meet every desired skill. Prove in your interviews that you are committed to learning and easily taught. Once you land the role, do everything you can to take past experiences and be helpful while you’re still learning.”
Looking ahead, Wendy wants to keep making an impact at Bipsync, seeing the work she does directly impact the success of the company.
“I want to be sure I’m constantly learning and growing. Throwing myself into new tasks or tools to become better at my job. Everyone at Bipsync works hard to carry their weight and it makes success that much easier, so I feel an individual responsibility to keep enhancing my skills to strengthen the team.”
Some great professional aspirations, but what about personal goals?
“I want to be happy! Prioritize new experiences. Keep traveling to new places. Spend time with family. Make trips to see old friends. Bake as much as I can (my sourdough starter is named Bernice and my sourdough english muffins are loved by many!) Oh and spend lots of time with my two cats Mozzarella and Capocollo (pronounced Gabagool, like they say in The Sopranos) that we love endlessly!”
“Don’t let the monotony of day to day life keep you from shaking things up.”
Wise words indeed!
