RMS 224: Mandatory Properties, Enhanced Grid Grouping and more

Release 224 of the Bipsync Research Management System (RMS) is now available and includes a number of changes:

• Grid widgets now support the grouping of rows by the value of a data lookup field.
• Calendar widgets can now use the value of a date field, such as “Effective Date”, when determining where notes should be placed in the calendar.
• An increased number of entity properties, such as “company name” or “fund name”,  can now be configured to be mandatory.
• Widgets that list data can now be configured to allow Notes and Files to be created from a button within the widget.
• Added two new Mail Classifier rule conditions: “email subject contains any of these phrases” and “email body contains any of these phrases”.
• Added a new “condensed” template that can be used when exporting notes via email and PDF.
• Improved the design of the “top view” display mode.
• Fixed an issue which caused contact details (address, telephone number etc.) to not display in grids.
• Fixed an issue which could cause users to be logged out unexpectedly.
• Fixed an issue which prevented snapshots from being restored when resetting a grid widget.
• Fixed an issue which caused some confirm dialogs to appear twice.
