NEW YORK – —Jun. 11, 2019—Bipsync, the research platform provider for investment management firms, is pleased to announce the appointment of its Board of Directors. The announcement follows the company’s $7 million Growth Investment, led by Edison Partners, in January this year.

The team welcomes Jean-Marc Levy, CEO of ComplySci, as Independent Board Chair and one of three new board members with a wealth of industry expertise. Mr. Levy is joined by Joseph Mrak, Global Head of Wealth Management at Refinitiv, and Jennifer Lee,Vice President at Edison Partners.

Jean-Marc Levy is CEO of ComplySci, the award-winning provider of innovative compliance and risk management technology solutions, and a recognized leader in the Financial Compliance industry. Prior to joining ComplySci in 2016, he was president of LRN, and served as Head of Global Issuer Services with NYSE. Jean-Marc has a longstanding track record of working with fast-growth technology businesses, including operating as Chief Financial and Business Development Officer at TheMarkets.com LLC, a financial technology startup he helped build and grow to a user base of more than 2,400 institutional investment management firms worldwide, before it was sold to The McGraw-Hill Companies in 2010.

Joseph Mrak is an established software executive in SaaS-based Fintech and Wealthtech technologies, and has served on a number of advisory and private company boards. Currently, Mr. Mrak is the Global Head of Wealth Management at Refinitiv, a global provider of financial markets data and infrastructure, and Chairman of the Board at Solovis, an institutional investment management technology platform. Previously, he was Chairman and CEO of FolioDynamix, acquired by Envestnet in 2018, and General Manager for Citigroup’s WealthSolutions Group.

Jennifer Lee is Vice President at Edison Partnersand led the firm’s $7m growth investment with Bipsync earlier this year. Jennifer joined Edison in 2016 and is focused on Fintech investments for the firm, where she has co-led investments in YieldStreet, MoneyLion, Giant Oak, Bento for Business, Clearpool Group, ComplySci, and GAN Integrity.  She was named to WSJ Pro Private Equity’s Women to Watch list last year.  Previously, she was at Commerzbank focusing on fundamental long/short investments, after overseeing VC investment prospects and strategic business development opportunities for the Associated Press.
