The Bipsync Research Management System RMS is now on release 124. The latest update focused on improved feature quality across the application, but also includes a few new features.
End of Day Pricing in Fields
Bipsync’s field functionality allows funds to capture and display data from many sources, such as user input, portfolio management systems, and third-party data providers. We’re increasingly asked if we can display financial market data such as end-of-day (EOD) pricing in “dynamic” fields, and as of this release we do.

In the image above, the EOD Stock Price field data has been imported from a data provider. It’s maintained by Bipsync so is automatically updated when the pricing changes each day. Over the coming months we plan to increase the scope of our offering in terms of the data points we can offer, so please let us know if there’s something specific you’d like to see.
Other Improvements and Bug Fixes
There are numerous other improvements in this release, including:
- When in “table” view the Note List is able to display a column that displays the names of any attachments added to each note.
- Contact look-up fields can be limited by any property of Contact records, such as organization or location.
- The Team Members view can optionally be hidden from each users’ settings panel.
- Dozens of other improvements and fixes.
